Ever get so annoyed that you drop everything and write a blog post or record a video when you should be working? No? Well, this is what I’m doing right now.

Why?

Because Two-Factor authentication sucks.

Let me explain:

I’m doing some research for a certain digital product that I’m creating for the NetHustler.com audience… and I have to open Facebook Business Manager to check if something is possible or not.

Don't know how to get started making money online? One of the best ways is to start a blog. You can easily do that by reading my Free Guide.

Anyway, I open the new tab, go to Facebook, go to business manager… then BOOM:

Enter your 2FA (two factor auhtentication) code, sent to your mobile app.

It instantly kills your vibe and train of thought.

I open the phone, I see I have other notifications, I check those… I forgot all about what I was doing, I proceed the next 5 minutes to watch cat reels on Instagram.

Two-Factor Authentication Ruins Productivity

I know I should have better discipline, but we’re humans. We go to open the authentification app on our phone, we see an unread text from someone, we open it, we think of a reply, we watch some reels until they reply. And suddenly the work we should be doing turns into a 15 minute waste of binge watching stupid videos.

I hate 2FA with a passion, same as I hate chatbots. And I just had to take 5 minutes to make this note, in order to vent out a bit. At least this was more productive than watching another AI-made brainrot video.

End of rant.
Stephen
